Buds form blooming into magnificent, colorful flowers before they slowly wilt, losing their bright color and fading as they come towards death. This collection focuses on life and decay through the use of natural materials and feminine chiffon. Flower petals and leaves were collected and dried in an attempt to preserve their natural beauty. Each leaf and petal is put within their own protective pocket within the garment. As the wearer walks, the petals slowly decay like the woman wearing the garment. Our bodies fall apart like the petals in the garments. It is something everyone experiences and one of the few things we collectively share.
